The Port and City of Ridgefield are the potentially liable persons responsible for cleanup at this site. We invite your review and comment on:
Agreed OrderDE 12769 is a legal agreement requiring the Port and the City of Ridgefield to carry out the Cleanup Action Plan.
Draft Off-Property Cleanup Action Plan is Ecology’s plan for cleanup. We plan to replace 12-24 inches of soil in 15 yards and rights of ways with high dioxin levels.
Draft Off-Property Remedial Investigation and Feasibility Study describe what chemicals are polluting the cleanup site (dioxins) and where they are. It includes sampling results for specific properties and neighborhood areas. It also compares cleanup options.
State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA): Determination of Non-Significance states that Ecology’s draft Cleanup Action Plan is not likely to harm the environment.
